Cyber Aces: Hope is a story-driven action RPG with some social simulation elements.
Combat System
Take part in the fights full of actions - The weaker the enemies, the more they will be spawned, balancing the combat and giving the feeling of satisfaction, especially with crowd control skills. In contrast, the stronger the enemies, the more strategy is required to triumph over them.
Chaining moves to do your combo - Creativity is the key. There is no need to remember complicated patterns.
Multiple playable characters and swap system - Choose your favorites and make more complex combos. Up to two characters can be selected to engage in the battle.
Choose which skills and moves to equip and upgrade - Have the freedom to build the characters as you see fit.
Lairs - Optional places to do boss rush and quick farming. Some additional bosses only exist in the lairs and are even more challenging than the main story. Additional events may occur after beating a lair.
Social Simulation
Bonding System - Strengthen the bond with the people in the Millennium Town to unlock bonus effects.
Choices Matter - Choices in the events and dialogues may impact your relationships with the other characters.
Story
The setting took place in a world known as the Cyber World. Twenty years ago, a big war transpired, planting chaos and despair across the world. The Kingdom of Fenestra was on the brink of losing. However, they were able to turn the tide, and in the end, a peace treaty was signed.
During this war, a boy was found in a ruined village by a high-ranked army commander. The commander brought the boy to one of his acquaintances and left the boy. That boy was later named Ryz Amdee.
After the death of his foster parent, Ryz travels to a remote town in The Kingdom of Fenestra called Millenium Town to meet the man who saved his life. Unbeknownst to him, a secret project had just begun within the area, altering the course of his life forever.
