A Chilled Or Thrilled Build
Orbitect is a mash up of a physics sandbox and resource management game using panels on block faces to generate resources for expansion and defence.
Whether you choose to be the architect of a beautiful autonomous space-haven or instead piece together a technological abomination, the choices - and consequences - are yours.
Sol Mates
You are Oumuamua, an ancient traveler indistinguishable from the vessel you reside within - existing as a metallic cube that is not entirely unlike sentient ore. The objective of your kind has remained the same for eons - interact with new cultures, explore new technology and unite life across the galaxy.
Your journey begins in Sol; A fragmented, but relatively peaceful system that is home to Humans, who reside across a number of planetary bodies. Despite you being an anomaly to them, money talks; if you have the means to trade, you are able to make friends. You are also able to make enemies.
Creators Gonna Create
Whether you’re a newcomer or a veteran of the resource management genre, Orbitect offers an approachable, intuitive, vibrant, and completely not-serious experience. The game comprises of two main modes:
Campaign: A focus on trading, building, relationship management and intentional building as you immerse yourself in the rich narrative of the world of Orbitect.
Creative: Get imaginative as you bring your wildest creations to life, with unlimited resources and very little to stand in your way.
The game will be currently available in Early Access - and whilst we have a roadmap for the future of Orbitect, our priorities and focus are not set in stone.
