The Great Farce is a non-linear mystery game, where the fate of the investigation depends on your choices. During a series of attacks targeting the country of Castela’s politicians and their families, Claudia Marcó de Pont, journalist and wife of ex-president Ulises García, finds herself tangled in an investigation that threatens to stain some of the most important political figures of the recently democratised nation.
Player Driven Investigation: In The Great Farce, you will choose how to approach the central mystery, who to interrogate, where to go and what to ask. But be careful, as not every choice will reveal the same information, and not everyone is a trust-worthy source.
Information Management: Your investigative choices can lead you to obtain a lot of information, which means you'll have to contrast and connect it to build an answer to the mystery. Build a case board, unravel the threads that connect seemingly disparate pieces of information, and find the truth.
Time Management: They say time is money, and in this game time is one of your most precious resources. All of your actions cost a set amount of time, and you will have to learn how to make the best use of it, as events and opportunities are often only present at certain places and certain dates.
